I work with a team of other school experts creating and delivering professional development workshops on the topics of teacher engagement, improving student learning, classroom management, and diversity-based creativity. Teamsight is a contracted vendor with the NYC DOE - we focus on schools adding a grade, schools restructuring, implementing a new initiative, those with poor reviews, and campus schools. If a school is undergoing a transition or trying to get better results for students, we are there. We do this through "turn-around" workshops, which are training and coaching designed to get all school staff in sync and employing team tools that increase initiative and creativity.

Leading groups of people on high ropes course and on-the-ground teambuilding games helped me learn about how people choose to take risks and to grow. Adventure activities inspire people to take chances that enhance trust and leadership. I had the privilege to work with 100's of people setting their own new levels of self-challenge at this job.

Outward Bound in NYC was a great opportunity to create and conduct organizational interventions for corporations associated with public education. I was been responsible for full-spectrum change management contracts, including materials/curriculum development & writing, recruiting and assigning staff, client partnering in program design, and general contract management. I also delivered creative workshops, trainings, and staff development for leadership teams & administrators.

Backpacking, rock climbing, winter camping, ice climbing & canoeing for 30-days in the woods with people of all types. I did this for 10 years at Outward Bound in Maine, New Hampshire, Maryland, Florida, Boston, Philadelphia, and NYC. I still work for Outward Bound doing a course about once a year. Adventure-based learning is where the mountains & teamwork provide leverage for personal change. That is Outward Bound.
