My health insurance career has led me to a passion for ensuring my clients have access to great and appropriate healthcare. I began my journey navigating the healthcare system for my special needs child. Individual health plans grew to an expanded interest in group health solutions. My career took a turn to Medicare in 2014 with Optum recognizing the gaps in care in Skilled Nursing Facilities. My understanding of Value Based Healthcare and it’s successful health impact on patients soared. I joined Oak St Health as an Outreach Leader with a goal of impacting our community- happy, healthy, out of the hospital…and I added out of “the home”. I’ve joined Monogram Health to improve the health of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease. Value Based Healthcare significantly impacts health outcomes and most importantly the health of the patient.
