Ms. Murphy is a seasoned Development executive with over 35 years experience in corporate fundraising, foundation programs and board development. She brings a very unique perspective to any fund raising challenge by her ability to draw from both non-profit organizational management and her extensive consulting experience. Ms Murphy has a track record of achieving annual development revenue targets of between $2,000,000 - $5,000,000. She has “been there and done it” and uses that experience to provide advice and counsel to her clients. An experienced fundraiser, Ms. Murphy has a proven record of creating the right strategy for an organization and providing management supervisory assistance with its execution. She ran the Public Affairs & Development group for Catholic Charities of Brooklyn where over a 22 year career, she developed the overall strategy for foundation giving, as well as managing several major programs and supporting events where she managed the budget & revenue plan, located donors and matured relationships with the local corporations and other contributing entities.For the past 10 years as a consultant, Ms. Murphy combined her practical experience with consulting techniques and has created and executed programs for her clients covering both long term sustained giving as well as short term, one-time events. Additionally she has helped several organizations with Board development. She works with the client sponsor to fully lay out the program plan and then, if requested, provides supervisory management (part time) over internal client resources who execute the tasks. She can also bring in a small core team of professionals under contract to cover for the internal resources for a specific engagement if requested.
