About Joan Turner

For 43 years I have had the priviledge to assist children, families, couples and individuals through trying and challenging times in their lives. I was lucky enough to come into this field as a relatively young person and be supported by many wonderful teachers and colleagues.My training and experience in child and family therapy helps me in my current practice with adults and couples to have a unique window into the earlier part of their lives which now may be causing havoc in the present. In addition, my training and experience in Primal therapy enhances my practice of emotional release techniques which I believe must be combined with cognitive methods for maximum benefit.
