I completed my PhD in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the University of Aveiro in 2024, with a background in Chemistry from both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Over the past few years, I’ve focused on environmental remediation research, developing functionalized magnetic nanoparticles for the removal of toxic metals and the recovery of valuable elements.Currently, I am working on the development of cellulose-based materials for water treatment. I have experience ranging from the synthesis and characterization of advanced materials to their practical application in environmental decontamination processes. My goal is to contribute to the development of sustainable and practical solutions to the environmental challenges we face today.
