Born and raised in Austin, TX, my passion for helping others was born in high school when I learned not all young girls have equal access to education simply because of their gender. I turned my attention to the community in my backyard when my post-college aspirations of moving to NYC or Geneva to work at the UN did not go as planned. Working in various areas from workforce development to education to gender equity, I learned all social issues ultimately point to the need for equal access to economic opportunity. After more than a decade of marketing, communications, community relations, and leadership experience across private, public, and nonprofit sectors and regionally-based community work, I have learned all social issues ultimately point to the need for equal access to economic opportunity. In this light, I am excited to pivot and apply my background to national and international social impact work.Have a project, position, or temporary assignment in mind? Let's connect!
