-Ensuring that all passenger transport operations are carried out in accordance with Fundacion Municipal de Transporte Masivo Urbano and Ecuadorian laws and regulations,-Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.-Making sure the transport operation meets its performance and safety targets.-Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services.-Role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.-Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.-Managing and supervising more than 350 staff.-Identifying existing and possible future transport problems, developing transport models and investigating the feasibility of alternative rutes and sectors.-Making sure that transport services are available to all through social inclusion.-Meeting passengers to deal with complaints and areas of concern.

• Responsible for exercising and advising the business lines on the quality of the design of controls, escalating areas of concern till resolution. • Definition of reports for different levels, from division managers to Board-level committees. • Design with the Boards Managers key control indicators.• Implement and evaluate resulting measurements. • Generate IC MIS reports designed to track performance and identify and address alerts with the correct remediation plan defined. • Develop Internal Control Policies, Procedures and Guidelines for use by the Internal Control Team, in its daily activities, as well as those to be followed across the company. • Design and execute a testing strategy that covers the most relevant control aspects in order to provide an independent view on operational effectiveness. • Oversee and coordinate management's quarterly certification activities, and generate management reporting for the results. • Develop and oversee the partnership between Internal Control and the lines of business, risk management areas.
