Contracted to return to The Hartford to continue working on Claim Document Management project. As part of this team, worked to successfully bring the company's claim offices countrywide into a paperless environment. This was achieved through introduction of document imaging and business process management tools to streamline daily tasks.

Lead Business Analyst assigned to Claim Enterprise Document Management project team. - Responsible for eliciting, gathering and documenting business requirements, developing numerous detailed Use Cases, and working with business and technical teams to accurately define and agree upon all functions and processes to be supported.- Documented business rules and process flows specified by the customer.- Collaborated with technical staff to automate process flows using a BPM tool (PRPC by Pegasystems)

Provided business analysis on numerous projects during the above time period. Worked closely with business partners and subject matter experts to develop requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems, to support changing needs. Served as business analyst on several projects to develop new Web applications for P&C Claims, including: introduction of online claim reporting and the ability to check the status of a claim via the company website.

Worked extensively with Workers Compensation commissioners, claimant and defense attorneys, risk managers and employers in resolving complex claim issues. Supervised staff of claim representatives assigned to me.
