I'm the Director of The BERO Group which specializes in litigation and valuation services. My firm and I provide accounting and financial consulting services and expert testimony pertaining to valuation and economic damages issues with an emphasis on intellectual property. Our intellectual property valuation and quantification experience includes utility and design patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade dress and trade secrets.In my time with the firm, I have consulted on matters involving issues such as patent infringement, trademark infringement, trade secrets and breach of contract, among others. My consulting experience has been in a number of different industries, including manufacturing, medical equipment, electronics, consumer products, commercial goods. Prior to joining the firm, I was a partner with Foley & Lardner, where I served as Vice-Chair of the Intellectual Property Litigation Group. I also served as an adjunct professor at the University Wisconsin Law School. While at Foley, I represented clients throughout the country in intellectual property matters, including utility and design patents, trademark, trade secrets, copyright, and trade dress litigation. I have worked with a wide variety of corporations and privately held businesses on matters involving diverse products, features and processes.
