Following the acquisition of Standard Life by Manulife, I advanced to the Portfolio Manager role to oversee business relationships, performance administration and operational challenges of third party managers and joint venture partners. I reviewed, documented and implemented key process changes to ensure the acquisition efficiencies. I developed and initiated communication strategies and reporting requirements. I successfully renegotiated the terms and conditions of former Standard Life Property Management Contract (PMA) with third party manager, resulting in stronger alignment with business model, financial advantages and greater flexibility. I coordinated all activities related to addition and removal of properties within the PMA and system alignment, ensuring process harmonization and smooth transition of operations during the transition period of the acquisition. I effectively managed changes based on thorough process gap analysis, documentation and clear communication of expectations, of the business models and values.

I mentored, managed and led teams of professionals in Asset Management and Leasing and outsourced team in Property Management for assets of class A and B and redevelop. I developed and implemented the national and regional business plans in line with real estate group objectives, including budgeting (annual operating, leasing and capital and interim forecasts), staff management, short and long-term asset strategies, property taxes appeals, assessments and appraisals. I mentored, managed and led a team of professionals in Leasing, Notary and Administration and an outsourced team in real estate property management. I administrated the bank’s real estate portfolio: 5,2M sq. ft., annual budget of $105M with minimal increase of 1.3% on budget since 2003 and a reduction of 25% of vacant spaces, generating $11M in revenue I elaborated strategic investment plans and recommendations for the Bank and it's subsidiaries senior management members, creating a cost reduction of at least $27M through the rationalization of the portfolio including relocation of staff in other locations. I negotiated all operations and branches leases (Canada and US) from owner and tenant perspectives including key transactions, generating long-term income of $90M; led the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets such as a $30M sale of 300 Viger in Montreal. I obtained a score of 90% from employees Survey for transparency in changes on employee satisfaction survey. I obtainned for the Bank Awards like Energia from l’AQME, Corporate Building of the Year; Boma Quebec & Canada and Green Plus Building.
