The Hobin Company was founded in 1891 and was incorporated in 1925 by William Henry Hobin. His son William John Hobin took over the company in 1933 and his son, William Knight Hobin, entered the firm in 1964 and became CEO with his father's death in 1968. Today, his daughter, Molly Hobin Williams, is the 4th. generation President and CEO servicing Manhattan Beach and the South Bay of Los Angeles. Joan Hobin, Molly's mother runs The Hobin Company at Bennion Deville Homes in Palm Desert. William Knight Hobin remains an officer of the corporation.
