Joan is an Integrative Whole Life Wellness Coach. For the last 20 years, Joan has pursued her passion and education in the field of Health and Wellness, focusing on areas such as nutrition and physical fitness, mind/body connection, the psychology of emotional eating and the concept of bio-individuality as methods of lifestyle intervention that can profoundly influence the quality of health and life. Joan has leveraged her knowledge and experience working with clients who are navigating the ever-changing landscape of information in the wellness arena as they discern what interventions are appropriate for them in order to achieve optimal results as they reach their unique goals.The concept of whole life wellness is born from the idea that all areas of life are integrated and connected. The primary foods that sustain us are more than what we put in our mouths. We are also nourished by our relationships, our careers, physical activity, creativity and spirituality.Whole life wellness encourages clients to seek balance in all relevant areas of their lives to the degree that they are most comfortable and identify with as individuals.Joan is an avid volunteer and has accrued countless hours volunteering in her community at schools, working with special needs students, at Churches, working with the St Vincent DePaul Society in support of local food banks, delivering Meals on Wheels, and with the local Visiting Nurses Association as a hospice volunteer supporting patients and their families transitioning through difficult times.
