CurrentThe Cornell Creative Arts Center is a program operated by The Arc Mid-Hudson. This position performs a variety of tasks that include strategic management, planning program development, budgeting, hiring, and staff evaluations. As well as organizing, scheduling, promoting, implementing, and evaluating cultural arts programs and activities. This position also works collaboratively with other departments and staff members to research, design, and develop new programs and exhibits that will excite citizens of all ages, including those who receive support from The Arc Mid-Hudson or other similar providers. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Networking extensively with community groups to attract a diverse population and expand and offer programming for all populations Develop relationships with higher education institutions to grow and expand internship opportunities Developing and maintaining a detailed budget, working in collaboration with the finance department, producing monthly financial reports, and tracking revenue. Lead all team and individual meetings Strategic planning of community partnerships Develop, maintain, and coordinate ongoing independent contractors and artists Seek continual sponsorships and donations related to arts programming Reseaching and prepare grants Oversee the building maintenance and track materials inventory
