My responsibilities and duties were mainly but not limited to:-Greeting and serving customers-Working to targets-Working on my own initiative to keep bar and floor areas presentable and clean-keeping outdoor areas presentable-Delivering food in target times to customers and checking on the customer-Stock check and replenishment-Working as part of a team

ResponsibilitiesI worked mainly on the front end, working on the checkouts and dealing withcustomer enquiries to the best of my ability. Occasionally I was also responsible for replacingreturned stock to the shelves and replenishment from the warehouse to the shop floor. I waselectronic till trained as well as Think 21 trained.AccomplishmentsDuring my employment at B+Q I feel I have become a lot more familiar witha large retail environment and I feel a lot more comfortable in a sometimes hectic workplace.

Responsibilities:I was responsible for the complete running of the store on the days I workedthere; this can include taking deliveries, making orders, replenishing stock and dressing the window display. I was also responsible for handling the day's takings, pricing stock, keeping anappropriate float and maintaining the presentability and cleanliness of the store.Since I started working here I have become more confident in my customer service skills, and dealing with large orders of stock, also since I have worked here, the business has becomesuccessful enough to take on another employee who I have been responsible in training and supervising. This for me has been a great accomplishment.

ResponsibilitiesI volunteered for SMR Phoenix in Barnstaple, serving customers, sorting through donations,helping load deliveries and occasionally helping deliver furniture to people’s homes. For a shorttime I was also up-cycling donations for resale at the store

I was responsible for meeting and greeting visitors,opening, closing and managing the rides on a shift basis. I also worked at the refreshmentcounters and occasionally aided in cleaning the grounds of the park.

I was responsible for keeping the sales areapresentable, window dressing, placing and receiving stock orders and banking cash and cheques. I managed the shop alone in the absence of the manager.
