I have over 20 years experience in transport planning and development in both the public and private sectors. In my new role with Glanville Consultants I hope to grow our offering within the renewable energy sector.I previously worked as part of the Transport and Mobility Planning team at SLR Consulting based in Bradford on Avon. From October 2015 I managed the Highways and Transportation planning team in the Bradford on Avon office. I have been qualified in the transport planning field and experienced as a project manager using PRINCE2 principles. I'm currently working on a wide range of projects, including solar and residential. I provide advice to clients and planning colleagues regarding all matters in relation to traffic and transport assessments. Work as a project manager has included the delivery of a major scheme business case over a period of four years, the preparation and review of various transport assessments for public and private clients, the preparation of construction phase traffic management plans, transport statements for schools and the preparation and assessment of travel plans. In previous roles I worked within the Transportation team of a leading global consultancy, providing transport support and advice on a range of projects for various private sector clients, producing transport assessments and travel plans. Through support to local authority clients I have provided direct in-house assistance within the development and planning sections, providing transport guidance and advice on a range of applications, and more recently for Swindon Borough Council working to assist in the delivery of their LSTF project.In my spare time I volunteer as a Community First Responder (CFR) providing emergency first aid in advance of the paramedics arrival. I qualified in April 2022 and I am on call regularly since getting my kit in July 2022.
