The role includes:• Offering advice and guidance on a 121-basis making sure that Service leavers are aware of all entitlements that are due to them whilst in resettlement. This can vary from funding that is available through to signposting to external companies for specialist support and making sure that service leavers have access to all tools to support them whilst transitioning from service life. • Confidently facilitating a group of up to 20 service personnel walking them through the practical elements needed for finding employment outside of the services including: CV building, Cover letter writing, Job spec analysis, effective use of LinkedIn, Interview techniques and negotiating salaries when offered a role. • Extra support to those service leavers who are struggling with their resettlement journey. Talking to them on a regular basis and breaking all tasks down into manageable chunks so that they do not feel overwhelmed. • Working as a team to ensure that all service leavers who are registered are offered the very best support.• Continuous professional development to make sure that I can deliver the best service to our clients.
