About Jo Berry

I have over 20 years office administration experience and highly developed communication, organisational and teamwork skills. On top of this I have over 8 years experience as a medic in both volunteer and paid roles.In my most current position, I am the receptionist and site administrator for Thales at Eagle Farm. In this role, I am the gatekeeper for the site and manage the signing in and out process for all visitors, contractors and delivery drivers. I also arrange inductions for contractors and do the daily HSE inductions for all visitors.As part of this role, I arrange travel for all workshop personnel, manage stationery, archiving, postage and kitchen supply ordering and troubleshoot day to day problems as they arise. During my time at Thales I took on a first aid officer role and managed the first aid room as well as being a mental health first aider.I am also a volunteer medic with Moreton Bay First Aid volunteers as well as a casual medic with In2Adventure. Previous to this, I was a volunteer and paid medic with St John Ambulance. Further to this experience, I have held multiple other office administration and reception roles for large and small organisations. I possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to competently consult and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner. Furthermore, I am a highly organised and reliable professional with a proven ability to prioritise workloads and to deliver tasks on-time. I am highly competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and have a strong understanding of computer hardware and software administration having taking on the role of a Computer Administrator position in several previous roles.
