Experienced Accounting Manager. I joined Armstrong Watson in 1999 working in accountancy and business advisory for over 22 years.I care for a wide range of clients across a range of sectors, advising businesses and individuals in all aspects of business advisory from sole traders and partnerships to small Limited company clients with turnovers of up to £10.2 million, specifically but not limited to, family owned and owner managed enterprises. My professional role manages the preparation of year end accounts, tax returns, VAT returns and also the complexities of traditional accounting software systems. I also advise clients on ad hoc business issues as they arise. I have an in-depth knowledge of Xero. As an accountancy senior, based in our Cumbria offices, I also offer mentoring support to our more junior members of the team to ensure that our professional advisory is carried out in an efficient and professional manner, helping our clients to run successful businesses profitably.
