MSEI specializes in the development and manufacturing of medical technology, in particular for active implants in the area of CRM (cardiac rhythm management) and neurostimulation. I currently serve as the Workforce Development Administrator for MSEI, with primary emphasis on training, education, and talent development for an amazing team of Engineers.

Graeter’s is one of the oldest, most successful ice cream brand’s in the United States. Graeter’s started 145 years ago in Cincinnati, Ohio and has stayed in the family for 4 generations—an incredible accomplishment in and of itself. I was attracted to this company because of their unrelenting commitment to producing the best ice cream possible (and it is!), along with their boutique service to their guests. I was fortunate to work at the oldest store (opened in 1922) in historic Hyde Park and learned timeless lessons from the matriarch of the company, Kathy Graeter, who visited my store nearly every day. They have been expanding rapidly with 22 locations in Ohio, and opening stores in Chicago, Nashville, and Philadelphia. As a professional, customer service, branding, and commitment to quality products are the heartbeat of my personality, making this a great learning experience during our short time in Ohio.

Promoted to Assistant Director of Business Partnerships and Placements. This role required leadership over two main department components 1) external/internal marketing initiatives 2) penetrating new business markets to increase program reach and impact. As a business student at Colorado Christian University, we were required to dress business formal on certain days each week. There arose a need for a fun event to be created to help women learn how to dress well for the marketplace, thus, the Dress for Success fashion show was birthed. I directed this event during its first year in 2011 and returned as Director when I began working for EMS later on. This was a fantastic event that required coordination and collaboration with several people including fashion consultants, clothing vendors, music and decoration coordination and CCU leadership. The Hope Project is an arm that seeks to provide relief to countries torn by war, famine, and natural disaster. This organization focused primarily in central and eastern Africa. After volunteering and serving with this organization overseas and domestically I was brought on as a Project Manager (unpaid FT). Within this role I was responsible for activities centered around fundraising to serve our strategic initiatives. My focus was to build community relationships with vendors, schools, public officials, churches, and individuals. Our largest event during my time with Hope was an initiative to raise $55,000 in 5 months called Home for the Holidays. This funding allowed us to rebuild homes in Burundi, Africa that had been torn apart by years of civil war.

Thryving Churches International was an events arm under the umbrella of Bayside Church located in Northern California. This event was designed to train and equip non-profit and church leaders in a wide variety of areas including organizational management, strategy development and implementation methods. I was hired on as a seasonal Events Intern to support operations for their largest event housing several thousand attendees from churches and non-profits across the U.S. My primary role focused on hospitality projects for our guests from out-of-state which focused on housing, transportation, and meals.
