Hello! I'm a bilingual first-generation Latina with more than 10 years of experience in short + longform news and storytelling. My most recent assignment gave me the honor of working with Jorge Ramos, America's most famous immigrant journalist. Univision's "Real America with Jorge Ramos" was an award-winning weekly news program with character driven mini-documentaries about immigration, policing, social justice, advocacy, politics, and interviews with high profile figures. I love supporting communities of color with my work. Throughout my career, I've worked in a top 20 local news market, as a network desk assistant, a production assistant, a network field producer, an MMJ, and have even helped launch a network from the ground up.But my identity is not just wrapped up in what I 'do.' I'm a wife who got married in the middle of a global pandemic, a "titi" to two beautiful Afro-Latino nephews, and a crazy cat lady without the cats (deadly allergies will do that). I'm also the proud daughter of two Ecuadorian immigrants. Being Latina beautifully colors everything I do, including speaking as much Spanglish as possible.
