Led a global team in the development of a strategic commodity plan spanning across five continents for Starters and Alternators to ensure optimal and competitive commercial conditions. Executed a global resource iniative to increase competion and reduce cost of over $1 Million annually. Developed ideas and plan-of-action to drive to cost to target price level.Negotiated pricing, delivery, terms and conditions for various awarding contracts. Managed global supplier relationships and built effective supply chain partnerships.

Responsible for up to $137 Million AVOB. Scope of responsibility included: turbochargers, electronics, wiring, seals, gaskets, thermostats, starters & actuators. Other component experience: castings, forgings, fasteners and stampings. Performed commodity planning, selection, qualification, contracting, and follow-up activities for supplier optimization.
