I’m an Architect who helps clients unlock the potential of their historic settings. Good architecture makes spaces where people thrive. I’m passionate about making our historic spaces relevant and engaging in our 21st century context though creativity, innovative solutions and spatial transformation. The best of our existing spaces need to be conserved with intellectual rigour and excellent craftsmanship, but also through creative re-use and bold new work of exceptional quality.I have worked for a range of clients from charities to private clients, I have experience of the National Heritage Lottery Fund (NHLF) process. I have worked on nationally important buildings including Listed Buildings, Scheduled Ancient Monuments, and at World Heritage sites. I have a wealth of knowledge of conservation repair techniques, underpinned by my training during the SPAB (Society for Protection of Ancient Buildings) Scholarship. I have also worked on a wide range of projects of all sizes during my career, from large developer schemes to smaller extensions. I have been involved in new build projects and have worked on finding sustainable solutions to both small and large projects. I hold the AABC (Architect Accredited in Building Conservation) qualification and the RIBA SCA (Royal Institution of British Architects Specialist Conservatio Architect) accreditation
