It is my honor to assist in the delivery of The Honor Foundation’s world-class career transition program for our nation’s most elite warfighters for the Camp Lejeune campus and Coastal NC, SC, and GA. I develop strategic partnerships with employers and individual volunteers both locally and nationwide, I plan and execute major program events involving the interaction between the program participants (Fellows and Alumni) and employers and volunteers. I foster positive relationships with program participants to ensure effective application of program curriculum and deliverables are achieved.I work with an experienced team dedicated to creating an impact for the Special Operations community.

The program is designed to have the Arthur Leaders In Residence (LIRs) spend extended time interacting with students and faculty. The Arthur LIRs will share their experiences, provide mentorship, and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, enriching the educational experience of our students.“Specific activities are tailored based on the interests and expertise of the leader and the needs of the students,” said Len Rhodes, executive director of Arthur School.DeMott will help launch and eventually manage the Empowering Military Transition through Acquisition Entrepreneurship initiative, designed to help transitioning military personnel achieve small business ownership through acquisition while preserving the legacy of local businesses in eastern North Carolina. The initiative takes a unique, four-step approach, including finding the participants, providing them the education to be business owners, matching them with business opportunities and then providing the resources to keep the business sustainable and successful.

As the Military Veteran Enablement Coalition (MVEC) Program Director, I brought together military community-supportive companies and organizations for impactful collaboration. The Vision of Whole Vet includes as part of its foundation the Military and Veteran Enablement Coalition (MVEC). MVEC consists of corporations, colleges, universities and other Veteran Service Organizations, all with a common goal: to positively impact the lives of the Military and Veteran (MilVet) community. The participation of these organizations is essential to the Whole Vet Military Career Transition Platform.

Campus subject matter expert on Federal Financial Aid, VA education benefits and military spouse scholarships. Assisted students through all stages of financial aid packaging.

Executive Board Member. Helped establish the non-profit organization, working with State and Federal entities.
