At WordDive, we are breaking communication barriers by revolutionizing the way people learn to speak foreign languages, and if that’s not something that we really need in this world, I don’t know what is. Besides planning and executing communications and content tasks I’m leading our excellent customer support team.I started my comms career in a traditional corporate environment (+1000 ppl in FI) where I learned a ton of good lessons, but finally found my current professional home in a rather small and comfy, but extremely ambitious and skilled work community in a former startup. On the communications side of things, I love working with texts and being extremely precise with the Finnish language. But I also know when to skip comments about commas and focus on the big picture.Many of my strengths lie in coordinating and making things happen. And of course, I would never skip a brainstorming session with the team when it’s time to be creative. My must-haves at work always include sense of humour. And a snack break during the afternoon.I completed my Master of Arts degree in April 2019 (Tampere University). Finnish language was my major, but I also completed a lot of communications and marketing studies. I thought it would create a nice combination for working life, and a couple of years later it’s been really useful. On the top of that I did some organisational culture and wellbeing development studies, because why not.
