My responsibilities included:- Active follow up on offshore drilling campaigns, including well planning and drilling to ensure efficient and effective operations.- Improved exploration workflows by establishing guidelines, processes, and digital dashboards for exploration assets management, resulting in increased operational efficiency.- Led the development and execution of the work program, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and effective use of resources.

I was responsible for optimizing the risk/reward profile of the company's portfolio through active relinquishments, farm-in/farm-down activity, and other strategic initiatives. My responsibilities included:- Working closely with lawyers on sales purchase agreements (SPA) and leading negotiations for acreage transactions to ensure favorable terms for the company.- Preparing and running farm-down datarooms to support divestiture efforts.- Playing an instrumental role in the Dugong c. 80 mmboe discovery, contributing to the company's growth and success.- Performing assessments of competitors' portfolios for potential acquisitions, supporting the company's growth strategy.- Representing the company in joint venture partnerships as part of both management and technical committees.- Building interactive dashboards for portfolio tracking in Power BI to support informed decision making.- Working closely with the Board and Management on company strategy development to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.

I was responsible for leading regional screening, play fairway analysis, and resource & risk assessment for exploration targets in the Northern North Sea (Horda, Tampen, Utsira High) area. My contributions to the exploration team included:- Generation of multiple leads and prospects through regional screening and play fairway analysis, resulting in several successful discoveries.- Main writer on four successful acreage applications, helping the company secure valuable exploration assets.- Leading the annual exploration round in 2019, which resulted in a 100% award of five new licenses, expanding the company's exploration portfolio.- Attending datarooms and providing technical recommendations to management and the board to support informed decision making.

As an Exploration Geologist for junior mining and oil & gas companies, including BG Group (Brazil), Dalradian Gold (N. Ireland), and Medgold (Portugal, Italy), my responsibilities included:- Conducting geological fieldwork in Italy and Spain, with a focus on Carlin-style and orogenic gold deposits, to support exploration efforts.- Core logging of the Curraghinalt mesothermal gold deposit for Dalradian Gold, contributing to the understanding of the deposit's geology and mineralization.- Supporting business development for BG Group in the area of subsurface technologies, leveraging my technical expertise and industry knowledge to identify new opportunities.

Brazil

I was supporting the exploration and appraisal of Ni-Cu-PGE laterite and sulphide deposits in Mato Grosso and Goiais, including Morro Sem Bone and Barro Alto. My contributions to the exploration team included:- Following up on RC/DC drilling campaigns to support data collection and analysis.- Conducting core and cuttings logging to better understand the geology and mineralization of the deposits.- Integrating field geology, geochemical and geophysical datasets to support exploration target selection and inform decision making.
