About Joanna Sanders

I am currently the Director of Professional Learning at Let’s Talk Science. I have previously served as the Digital Fluency Consultant for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education and was a French Immersion educator for Regina Public Schools before working for the ministry.I am a recipient of the Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence, a Google Certified Innovator, a YouTube Star Teacher and an Apple Teacher with Swift Playgrounds recognition. In 2016, I was named a CBC Saskatchewan's "40 Under 40" for my educational leadership in the promotion of digital citizenship education. In 2017, I received the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education "Excellence in Education Award for Student First/Citizen-Centred" in recognition of my leadership in organizing a provincial online youth forum which had over 9,000 students participate.I'm always looking for collaboration opportunities and would love to work with you.
