Reported on social issues in Hunts Point for this digital publication of Columbia Journalism School.Independently built contacts and sourced for stories in the South Bronx neighbourhood, such as the housing woes - ceiling collapses, vermin visits - in one poorly managed apartment building.Also covered the gas shortage in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, which damaged major distribution sites in New Jersey and left cabbies in the lurch and in long lines at gas stations.
