My most recent ventures are #BeTheRipple and #KintsugiCreativeHolisticWellbeing, both of which work to empower individuals and organisations to prioritise wellbeing, kindness and care.My work experience over the past 30 years has provided so many lessons and insights into the world of work: of what is good, what is bad and what is just plain ugly. I am on a mission to help create a kinder and more inclusive working world for us all, so that we can all feel safe, feel belonging, be ourselves and be in environments that enable us to do our best work. We all deserve that.I’m passionate about people and I love to support others, whether that be to develop skills, build confidence, find their own brilliance or feel empowered to use their voice. I love to champion souls who have had their lights dimmed by others, there is nothing that fills me with more joy than helping to support someone else in rediscovering their brilliance and shining brightly for the whole world to see. Unkindness can dim someone's light temporarily, but with support and kindness it will come back and shine brightly once more.I wholeheartedly advocate fairness, equality, kindness, care, ethical practice, anti-bullying and anti-racism in workplaces. My belief is that every individual should be able to live their purpose in the work they do, without being subjected to inequality, harassment, bullying or unkindness of any type.I’m a qualified Further Education Teacher, HR and L&D professional with experience of delivering online and face-to-face learning sessions. Having worked in people development in one form or another for over 23 years (working in training, teaching, HR & L&D projects, and in people management) I am experienced in developing and delivering sessions and programmes to large groups, small groups and individuals, in both face-to-face and virtual classroom environments. I am hugely passionate about the importance of holistic experiences, showing kindness and care as well as focusing on outcomes. I have a degree in Human Resource Management, a CIPD Level 5 Certificate in Learning and Development and a postgraduate qualification (PGCE) that is tailored to the adult education and training sectors. I also have Essential Skills Practitioner awards in ESOL (Level 5), Literacy (Level 3) and Numeracy (Level 3).
