• Oversee Safety for Hunter & Subcontractors• Develop, conduct, and maintain records for COVID-19 safety precautions, and cases• Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and methods to drive overall HSE excellence• Maintain 3rd party Contractor Risk Management Services (Avetta, ISNetworld, Browz, NCMS)• Coordinate and provide training to employees including safety orientations for onboarding• Promote employee awareness of safety through training, safety statistics, and implementation of safety programs.• Complete incident investigations and comprehensive reports of findings including correction plans and lessons learned• Conduct safety meetings as needed, monthly with HSE professionals, quarterly with all employees• Coordinates drug screens, background checks, safety council training, leadership training, craft certification, heavy equipment training/certification, and maintain all records• Develop & Edit monthly safety newsletter and organize safety and team building events • Manage tool, equipment, and PPE inspections, and maintain records and inventory• Develop, conduct, and monitor success of Employee Engagement and Safety Incentive policies• Maintain extensive and frequent interaction with company management, representatives of federal and state agencies and other safety professionals.
