About Joanne Appleton

If you are a leader (at any level) or part of a team, I will support you to realise your visions and goals, enabling you and your team to become more effective. I am equally at home working with individuals and groups in all kinds of organisations. I love to creatively use my coaching, facilitation and quality improvement skills to help you think through issues where you feel stuck and help you come with the answers that are right for you. My approach is flexible and all about the people in front of you. I give you the space and time to ‘think out loud’, picture what is really happening, identify goals for change and develop realistic strategies to achieve those goals. What previous coachees say: “I’m not sure I could’ve reached the same outcomes alone. The exploration through conversation was brilliant and I have learnt to challenge myself, to get past myself, using the tools provided. It definitely opened up things I hadn’t thought of before. I finished my experience feeling uplifted and hopeful of the future, something I wasn’t before I started.”"Through coaching I have discovered that I hold the answers to questions/dilemmas that I have, and it's been so helpful to have someone gently guide me to reaching them. Being pushed to challenge some of my thinking and keep pushing until I reach an answer has been really enlightening."My previous experience includes organisational development, project management, writing and research, communications, marketing and partnership development across health, education and charitable/ faith-based organisations. I am an EMCC Accredited Coach at Practitioner level.
