At Newable for 16 years I have worked with directors and senior teams across all of the services Newable has to offer including business loans, start-up and expansion advice, real estate management, international trade advice, digital enablement, governance, and risk management consultancy. In conjunction with the CFO, I am responsible for leading the finance team, overseeing all accounting procedures, financial controls and systems.As a member of the compliance team, and a FCA approved person, I have helped in the FCA application and subsequent governance of 3 companies within Newable which became FCA approved in 2016. I was integral in the transition to a new finance platform, both in selecting a new software and assisting developers in function requirements, as well as building the financial reports once installed.I am responsible for coordinating and producing monthly management accounts, forecasts and annual budgets. In addition, I also review and assist in submission of tenders with consideration to financial viability and impact.
