Having worked as Head of Operations for over 10 years, I have been in post as Chief Executive of Gateway Family Services CIC for almost a year now. Despite some challenges along the way, I'm enjoying the role immensly and am excited about what comes next, both for me professionally and the organisation as a whole. In both this and my previous role I have managed taff across a range of contracts and disciplines. I have successfully bid for, set up and delivered a wide range of contracts including Local Authority commissioned services, European Social Fund contracts and grant funded projects. I am responsible for the development of procedures and policies to improve performance as well as leading the strategic direction of the organisation, working closeley with our Board. I possess extensive staff management experience at a senior level supervising a team of Managers working across a wide geographical area and within different contracts. I have highly developed communication skills at all levels and am able to positively influence staff, partners and commissioners as well as delivering information in the form of reports and presentations to a wide range of audiences.
