I went to UT Dallas after graduating high school in 2020 as a PreMed Psychology major. I took a break after the Fall 2021 semester to manage my mental illnesses and get treatment, I plan on transferring to University of Houston to continue my education as a Psychology BS major and minoring in Interior Architecture. My personal history with mental health led me to feel a calling towards the field, I am pursuing a career in Psychiatry or as a therapist. I have big hopes and ambitions to accomplish with my career in Mental Health. However, creativity is a big part of my life so I am also interested in minoring in Interior Architecture to keep that side of me alive. While being in school and having my own career, I hope to have a side gig in Interior Design. I am currently a nanny, I have been one for several years now. I work with kids from toddlers to high schoolers. I am currently employed by a household with 4 adopted kids. I am tutoring their 16 year-old daughter with homeschooling, help with younger ones school and keep them all on track, I also manage the household, and do housekeeping. I create chores lists and help smooth out communication between parents and children. Each child has an array of mental health and behavioral issues, so the parents found my profile to be attractive due to my own history with mental health and addiction, and my interest in pursuing a career in Psychiatry and mental health.
