Joanne agreed to stay on as the last senior administrator and assist in dealing with the closure of the location and maintaining the moral of over 50 people. Her gentle, compassionate and nurturing style single handedly kept the team connected and engaged. She quickly dealt with individual employee issues and confronted contradictory requests coming from different parts of the acquiring company. She organized various events ensuring everything was ready for townhalls, information sessions for employees, morale building events, and celebrating scheduled employee exits. She did do with a compassionate and positive attitude, one of service to each person. She showed her dedication to our employees through her commitment to stay with the company until the final close of the office.
