To ensure refugees were ready to work and retained employment I taught an employment skills class where refugees learned various aspects of American job culture. AIESEC is a youth leadership movement, passionately driven by the peace and fulfillment of humankind's potential. A student organization present in over 120 countries, AIESEC creates leadership and cross-cultural opportunities for youth. As president I supervised a local student committee of 40 members and managed an executive board of seven students. I directed and led weekly meetings with the executive board, and created budgets for events, travel, and the organization as a whole.
