I am a senior geoscientist with 30 years of industry experience working for International operators. I have worked in five countries and have a broad technical base in the E&P sector. I currently work as a Team Lead for C&C Reservoirs, based in Reading UK, with responsibility for populating our reservoir analogues database, leading a technical report writing team, editing content and collating and analysing all forms of field data. I need to ensure our product contains accurate high quality reservoir analogues for our customers. I have written technical reports covering fields across SE Asia, North Africa, Middle East, UK and Norway. In my role I have also recently written 12 reports on carbon storage projects from around the globe and creating a new CCS module in DAKS. Prior to this I worked as a New Ventures project Lead for Mubadala Petroleum working on West Africa, notably Gabon and Congo; Geoscience team lead for Salamander Energy and principal & consultant geologist for BG Group. My 16 year career with BG Group included variety of international exploration projects in UKCS, Egypt, Trinidad, China and Australia, mainly in technical and team lead roles. Following this I worked as team lead for Salamander Energy in Singapore co-ordinating delivery of geoscience technical work including New Venture projects and operated asset technical work throughout SE Asia. Areas include offshore East Kalimantan, Gulf of Thailand, Myanmar and Malaysia. Recent work includes Bontang / SE Sangatta prospect evaluation in Indonesia and G4/50 regional studies, playfairways analysis and Petroleum Systems work in the Gulf of Thailand. In October 2013 I joined Mubadala Petroleum to work as Project Lead for New Ventures working West Africa. Projects include studies on African Transform Margin and a regional play fairway analysis for the Gabon-Congo Pre-salt as well as co-ordination of gravity and magnetic studies.
