Joanne Benerowski is the Executive Director of the Canadian National Exhibition Foundation, where she provides strategic and operational leadership for the charitable arm of the CNE. With more than three decades of experience in event management, special projects, philanthropy, governance, strategic planning, marketing, sales and relationship management, Joanne has a well-rounded background in both nonprofit and business leadership. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from York University and is a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Fundraising Management Program, with additional studies in communications and advertising, corporate communications, direct marketing, and corporate governance. An active member of her community, Joanne has served in various board and volunteer roles. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time on the tennis court.
