After seven years of honing my skills in multiple HR/Field roles, I was presented with an exciting opportunity: to relocate to the US and lead the opening of Tesco/Fresh & Easy as its HR Lead for three separate states. Originally intended as a 12-week support role, it turned into two transformative years of personal and professional growth.During my time in the US, fate intervened as I crossed paths with one of Three's Regional Managers during a rare visit back to the UK. Immediately captivated, I decided to bring my expertise home and join Three as their Regional HR Recruitment Manager (London & Southeast). From there, I soared, taking on the role of regional strategic HRBP and Resourcing BP. These positions allowed me to forge strong relationships that had been the bedrock of my success at Three.But my journey didn't stop there. In September 2016, I embarked on an amazing chapter as the National Retail HR Business Partner and Interim Head of HR at Cath Kidston. It was the perfect finale to my retail journey, filled with challenges, growth, and unforgettable moments.Ready for a new adventure, I joined Marie Stopes International and experienced invaluable personal and professional growth. This opportunity gave me the chance to navigate complex cultures and engage with diverse stakeholder groups, a real crossroads in my professional and personal journey.And now, as I embrace the ever-changing work world within a local authority environment, I am eager to continue stretching my knowledge, growing my skills, and shaping a future that inspires and empowers myself and others.The journey of growth and transformation never stops.
