My responsibility covers more than 60% of business operations.My main achievements to-date have been:• Cost savings of more than £100,000 through review and streamlining of the distribution structure.• Drove the business case and implementation of outsourcing of Gemma’s merchandising function, which further reduced cost by £80,000 per year, and substantially increased efficiency.• Reinvigorated the brokerage team to fix a critical but broken business process, which widened product presence and resulted in increased turnover to more than £1,000,000 per year.• Increased and maintained product availability, resulting in improved sales for both Gemma and the retailer; and much-improved customer satisfaction to 98% compared to the national average of 95%.
