On a very tight budget, top-line research into customer behaviours and attitudes, a SWOT and prioritised marketing plan underpinned a comprehensive set of brand guidelines with a new look and feel and tone of voice, a new website with all new content and photography and the start of a more concentrated social media approach. Despite the lack of resources both in personnel and systems, I relished the opportunity to grow this challenger brand which had a great future. Disappointingly, Paint the Town Green have decided, post lockdown, to invest and focus solely on decorating, so the showroom and the e-commerce website are no more. I have had no part to play in their latest incarnation.Favourite moment: 'Name that colour'. Social initiative for the Surface Design Show. All PTTG paint colours were named after songs (i.e. Scarborough Fair), piano snippets of which were recorded and posted on social for people to guess the colour. It was irresistable. Show less -
