In this new role for the Human Resource and Operational Development (HR&OD) team, I have been responsible for developing a staff engagement framework, ‘Employee Journey: Moments that Matter’ concept and enabling plan which sets out activity to improve our employee experience. As part of this a new staff survey pulse model approach named ‘Be Heard’ has been rolled out and work has begun on the development of an employer brand. I am also responsible for weekly HR&OD communications to the workforce and the development and co-ordination of engagement events for Health & Wellbeing campaigns.
• Led a project to migrate the HR Forms location and associated process from BOX to MS SharePoint and worked with IS to create automated workflows for approvals of the forms. Trained and provided support to users on the new process prior to and during roll out.• Other tasks included monthly attendance management reporting, SAP systems housekeeping and maintenance, completion of data surveys, SAP system development and processing organisation changes.
Managed projects of the business internally and externally as follows:Internally• Designed and facilitated Staff Survey Workshops and investigated improvement opportunities to report to the Management Team.• Business analysis and change projects.Externally• Circular Economy Project Management – co-ordinated the successful bid for the Zero Waste Scotland funding (£220k). Kept the project on track, developed relationships with partners and stakeholders, created an ambassador programme and raised awareness of the project in the region.Previous projects have included: • GDPR – was responsible for company readiness to work according to the new legislation, implemented new processes to support transition, trained staff and communicated changes.• Springboard Training (oil & gas training programme for redundant workers) – co-ordinated the learning programme for the 2nd training programme. Developed relationships with the funding contacts from Skills Development Scotland, marketed the programme, liaised with delegates prior to and during attendance on the course. • Managed the implementation of a new software (Zynk) to automate invoicing between our CRM system and SAGE. This involved information analysis, process mapping, needs analysis, staff training and roll-out.
