Working in the Attraction team supporting the Resourcing team with targeted campaigns.

I am working within the Ageing and Health Team at Forth Valley Hospital. I am based on the hospital ward, working with patients and providing social and therapeutic stimulation through a range of activities.

In this new role for the Human Resource and Operational Development (HR&OD) team, I have been responsible for developing a staff engagement framework, ‘Employee Journey: Moments that Matter’ concept and enabling plan which sets out activity to improve our employee experience. As part of this a new staff survey pulse model approach named ‘Be Heard’ has been rolled out and work has begun on the development of an employer brand. I am also responsible for weekly HR&OD communications to the workforce and the development and co-ordination of engagement events for Health & Wellbeing campaigns.

• Led a project to migrate the HR Forms location and associated process from BOX to MS SharePoint and worked with IS to create automated workflows for approvals of the forms. Trained and provided support to users on the new process prior to and during roll out.• Other tasks included monthly attendance management reporting, SAP systems housekeeping and maintenance, completion of data surveys, SAP system development and processing organisation changes.

Managed projects of the business internally and externally as follows:Internally• Designed and facilitated Staff Survey Workshops and investigated improvement opportunities to report to the Management Team.• Business analysis and change projects.Externally• Circular Economy Project Management – co-ordinated the successful bid for the Zero Waste Scotland funding (£220k). Kept the project on track, developed relationships with partners and stakeholders, created an ambassador programme and raised awareness of the project in the region.Previous projects have included: • GDPR – was responsible for company readiness to work according to the new legislation, implemented new processes to support transition, trained staff and communicated changes.• Springboard Training (oil & gas training programme for redundant workers) – co-ordinated the learning programme for the 2nd training programme. Developed relationships with the funding contacts from Skills Development Scotland, marketed the programme, liaised with delegates prior to and during attendance on the course. • Managed the implementation of a new software (Zynk) to automate invoicing between our CRM system and SAGE. This involved information analysis, process mapping, needs analysis, staff training and roll-out.

Worked on a business led initiative that was given seed funding by the Scottish Government, I was part of the original team who set up the project post award. Main duties were to:• Determine local KPIs on a national project which received see funding from the Scottish Government.• Create a presence locally (including branding, messaging, website creation, social media profiles); this also extended to working with the board and stakeholders.• Sit on various development groups and attending meetings with partners to drive forward collaborative working in line with strategy to improve the alliance between businesses and schools to improve career awareness & inspiration, work placement and employment opportunities for young people in Aberdeen City and Shire.

Relocated to Aberdeen with Nexen in October 2014, in addition to Recruitment was responsible for Project Work such as: • Orientation Improvements.• Applicant Tracking System - SuperUser/Global Administrator role and global alignment of processes.• Graduate Recruitment – design and running of assessment centre. • Process mapping for MSP.• Design and content development of redundancy selection process (Supply Chain).• Proof-reading of all offers and terms and conditions to external candidates.Feb 2011 – Oct 2014 // Golden Eagle Project, Paddington & Aberdeen• Delivery of start-up and vendor training (UK & Europe) for offshore core crew and onshore team. Mar 2008 – Mar 2010• Supported the Director with the purchase of a London based agency. Relocated to London and rebranded the purchase to Carlton Resource Solutions and managed the operations for the following 2years. • Duties included developing the business and nurturing relationships with main clients who included Hackney, Haringey, Enfield and Barnet Borough Councils. Lead a team of 5 and supported their development as Recruiters (3) and support staff (2).Jul 2005 – Mar 2008• Initially employed in Aberdeen as a Recruiter managing the ‘temp desk’. Main clients included both Aberdeen City and Shire Councils. • Progressed to Operations Manager and looked after staffing, facilities and held an Executive Assistant role to the Managing Director.

Management and co-ordination of two high profile Executive Education programmes based in Fontainebleau in France.• Organised the International Executive Programme – one of INSEAD’s longest running and highest profile General Management Programmes and Women Leading Change in Global Business, the first programme in Europe to be specifically designed for Women. • Creation of e-portals and organisation of pedagogic materials (pre-reading, pre-work, case studies).• Administration of behavioural profiling activity and 360degree surveys.• Organisation of all accommodation, events, social activities for the delegates.• Liaison with external lecturers and specialists.• Budget tracking & control; comparing assigned budget with expected spend for each programme and modifying where necessary, cost control for each programme, cost reporting at end of programmes and end of school year and invoice administration.
