Organized a volunteer team to collect signatures for a MA ballot initiative to appoint a volunteer citizen commision to research campaign financing here in MA Initiated and organized speaker events and screenings of the documentary “ Dark Money” Educated voters, canvassed and stood out to gain support for the ballot initiativeOverwhelming support for campaign finance reform with 71% of voters in favor of a first in the nation citizen commision to recommend change

We are a certified green business and a member of The Green Business Network. Our products are all handmade using only natural, organic fibers and fabrics. We specialize in baby and toddler toys, bedding and clothing as young children are more sensitive to the manmade chemicals found in non-organic fibers. Organic, natural fibers are healthier for us and our planet, are 100% biodegradable and don't deplete our planet of its natural resources. Our materials are sourced from suppliers who follow sustainable practices and are good stewards of our plant. We work mostly with organic cotton because of it's benefits to people and our planet. Conventionally-grown cotton uses 25% of the world's pesticides and it takes 1,800 gallons of precious water to produce just one pound of non-organic cotton. We look forward to expanding into other natural and alternative fibers that are processed sustainably. We are excite to do our part to promote a green, socially responsible economy.

A top priority of the Energy Committee is to become a state designated green community. As such, the town is eligible for state grants to implement energy efficient and renewable energy projects for school and other municipal buildings.

Green Pro Bono is an all-volunteer organization that connects climate-change entrepreneurs with attorneys from major law firms across the US who provide pro bono legal services for their promising ventures. As Executive Director, I work closely with the Board on key business, marketing and funding strategies so that more clients can bring their climate-change solutions to market without the burden of costly legal fees.

I initiated The Hartford Boston Field Giving Program, recruited committee members and led the grant-making process for the greater Boston area. I also organized volunteer days with Habitat for Humanity and The Greater Boston Food Bank . I received The Hartford’s Winning Spirit Recognition Award for community service.
