As the Director of Veteran Engagement and as a Veteran Speakers Agent, JoAnne Griffin formulates and executes strategies aimed at involving and supporting military veterans across various programs and initiatives. Her responsibilities include identifying, recruiting, and overseeing a pool of public speakers who are either veterans themselves or possess expertise in veteran-related subjects. Moreover, she liaises with both speakers and event coordinators to secure speaking opportunities for veterans at conferences, educational institutions, and other venues. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is integral to the success of veteran engagement programs and speaker events, while maintaining strong ties with speakers, veterans' organizations, and other stakeholders within the veteran community. Managing budgets, contracts, and logistical aspects of speaker engagements and events falls within her purview, along with offering guidance and support to speakers in terms of content development and presentation skills.Drawing from more than two decades of experience in collaborating with military organizations and non-profits, JoAnne Griffin presently holds the position of Director of Special Events at TRG Ventures, a premier consultancy firm aiding veterans in transitioning from military to corporate roles. In this capacity, she oversees the execution of the HighGroundHQ Bullets&Bourbon programs, delivering dynamic and innovative experiences for both corporate and private clientele. Utilizing her expertise in team-building, public speaking, and entertainment, she strives to enhance participant satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Additionally, she lends support to Skillbridge initiatives, furnishing veterans with career development opportunities and mentorship.
