Director Of Marketing
Current• Develop & maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s markets, competitors, sales cycles & consumer behaviors• Develop strategies & plans which identify marketing opportunities & carry out programs for market research & analysis including market segments, trends & competitor analysis• Develop & manage marketing activities & strategies with clearly defined objectives, goals, schedules & assignments to implement & achieve targeted opportunities• Monitor, analyze, & evaluate customer behavior & supplier activity & feedback to identify market opportunities & new customers for products/services, & identify product/service features needing to be changed to meet customer needs• Develop & maintain collaborative relationships with key suppliers to maintain position of company as premier distributor• Identify, design & implement marketing strategies for the various supplier lines, encompassing their new products & services identification & selection of target markets• Manage customer facing events & public relations efforts • Effectively represent the company at various community, business & industry association meetings to promote the company & its interests.• Direct & support collection, analysis, & interpretation of market data for short- & long-term market forecasts & reports• Develop & manage education offering for company through seminars, webinars, & virtual meetings to include: one on one virtual appointments, virtual social engagements & other creative social interactions to drive new business• Lead & coach the Marketing Team, including Marketing Analytics Specialist, Content Marketing Specialist, Marketing Coordinator; manage the day to day activities of the department including but not limited to performance management, goal setting, career development, hiring/firing, etc.• Responsible for annual marketing plan & budget, strategy & vision• Work closely with the other departments to align sales & marketing strategies
