I am an award-winning short story writer, a published poet and a debut novelist. As the founder of a company that delivers creative writing classes and literary events across the UK, I currently manage a team of tutors, develop high quality courses, and collaborate across the creative sector on lectures and workshops which prioritize public engagement and impact. I hold a PhD in English Literature from Cambridge University and will complete a second, Arts Council funded PhD in Creative Writing by May 2024. After more than 10 years working in education, I am a skilled communicator, with a track record of success in applying for competitive research grants.
