Jo Ryan is an experienced communications, marketing and public relations professional who works with businesses of all sizes and across many sectors on effective communications, tender/grant projects, sponsorship and public relations strategies.Jo established Infodec Communications in 2009 following a long career with News Corp Australia working across the areas of marketing, editorial and government relations.An advocate for small businesses, in 2018 she was appointed as the inaugural President of the Sutherland Shire Business Chamber (SSBC). Under Joanne's leadership SSBC more than doubled its membership and revenue over a nine month period and won the Business Chamber of Year Award for the Sydney Metro Region 2019.Jo has held representative positions on the NSW Business Chamber's Sydney East Regional Council, the Sutherland Shire Council's Economic and Tourism Committee and the Government Procurement Reference Group that was co-ordinated by the NSW Small Business Commissioner's Office.During early 2020 she launched the Enterprise show on 2SSR 99.7 FM - a program for and about business and community groups.In November 2024 Jo was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Juliana Village Association.Her formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) and Master of International Studies. She is also a Justice of the Peace NSW.
