I report to the Board of Directors, and am responsible for moving Girls for Gender Equity closer to its mission. This includes:1. Serving as principal leader and representative of the organization to the greater community. 2. Reaching annual financial objectives through diverse sources while developing and maintaining sound financial practices.3. Developing long-term strategic vision, organizational goals and programmatic objectives with board of directors and staff as well as procedures for locally based initiatives.4. Cultivating leadership of secondary staff through coaching and scheduled supervision meetings used to develop and evaluate implemented programs. 5. Ensuring that job descriptions are developed, that regular performance evaluations are held, and that sound HR practices are in place.6. Responsible for the recruitment, employment, and release of all personnel and govern policy and procedures of agency.7. Maintaining official records and documents, and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.8. Maintaining a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the field.9. Developing strategic communications, marketing and media messages that reflect the organizations mission and core values.
