There were almost 300 business-owned calculations and a very tight deadline. • Above required full programme governance; liaison across multiple Bank systems; managing project managers, business analysts, developers and testers; dealing with Market Risk Managers and Methodologists globally and at all business levels. • Managed the VaR methodology work stream was a complex programme delivering the Bank’s key Monte Carlo VaR methodology changes. It encompassed everything from minor methodology changes to major re-engineering projects including a complex move of the Traded Market Risk Economic Capital processing into the VaR framework. Projects, which had direct financial implications for the Bank in terms of the VaR multiplier, were completed on schedule and on budget. -
