Within my role as Marketing Manager for CircoSense, I am responsible for creating and overseeing the marketing & sales strategy of innovative energy saving company. In addition, I create brand and marketing materials, maintain social media presence, manage and create content for the company website, maintain customer relationships, assist with business development and carry out market research. CircoSense flagship device, the CS4000 is a revolutionary device, proven to reduce your energy usage through intelligent water circulation and assist with water compliance monitoring using Artificial Intelligence.CircoSense works by targeting inefficiencies in existing secondary return hot water systems, used in most commercial buildings.CS4000 switches on your circulation pump only when required in three distinct operating modes:- AI Controlled Circulation- Water Compliance- Random Request

In this role I was:- Carrying out day to day management of the marketing and bid writing team- Responsible for the writing and successful submission of tenders for large value contracts within tight deadlines- Managing the company websites, including SEO, blogs, company news, testimonials etc.- Actively engaged in development of CRM system within company to create centralised database of customers- Carrying out design and print of company literature, including newsletters, leaflets, brochures and portfolios using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) - Drafting and circulating press releases, features- Managing third party agencies and service providers- Writing and proofreading copy- Creating presentations for both internal and external meetings- Organising and representing company at events such conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions- Maintaining social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, Google + and LinkedIn - Implementing measures to improve Internal Communications

Duties for this job include carrying out marketing research, writing reports, analysis of statistics and preparation of presentations. Other duties include management of company website, attending relevant trade shows, creating news releases, ordering and stock management of merchandise, as well as the creation and distribution of the company brochure. Another key role is maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers, as well as any other stakeholders in the company's area of business.

During my summer employment in Caledonian MacBrayne, the tasks included selling tickets and making bookings for customers, recording passenger information and using PA and VHF systems. This experience has helped me develop my multitasking skills, whilst enhancing my interpersonal skills, as well as teaching me how to deal with the general public
