This retail driven, not-for-profit sells gently used second-hand goods donated by the local community and contributes the proceeds to support the Nantucket Cottage Hospital. In its nearly 100 years of existence, the Hospital Thrift Shop has generated close to $7 million. Most recently, its support has enabled the purchase of a state- of- the- art MRI machine.
